There's no better way to improve your game than a one on one session. You will be amazed at how much you can learn working with Coach K on anything from adjusting your basic technique through to perfecting your drag flicks. We don't just teach you how to do something, we help you understand why you do it.  This method of teaching sets  you up to  continue to better yourself beyond our private sessions.

To find out more, including cost and locations, shoot us an email or fill out this form. We also do small group sessions.

We use progression techniques when teaching skills. You can see Coach K teaching Issabella how to throw an aerial by first isolating the upper body by having her practise down on one knee. This helps to develop the correct technique before focusing on power and distance.

Having played under Coach Killeen at a very crucial point at the start of my international hockey career, the value he added to me as a player; in his coaching style and manner, both on and off the field, is immeasurable. His technical and tactical knowledge of the game and the way he passes this information on to players is one of his greatest attributes as a coach. I know I speak on behalf of a number of players when I say that having played under Coach Killeen definitely set a good base for our careers, at what ever level we as individuals were aspiring towards!

- Phum Mbande, a top class goalkeeper, has played for the South African National Womens Team

Coach K is a wonderful teacher and knows just about everything to do with field hockey. He has mastered every skill and is able to explain each one in a way that makes it easy to understand and accomplish. Most importantly, Coach K is patient, enthusiastic, and encouraging, and his passion for the sport always comes through. He also knows a lot about physical fitness in general, and was able to give me a lot of good advice as to how to train for my college season.

- Gracie Tavakkol, an exceptional midfielder, plays for Vassar College

Not only was Coach Killeen my coach but he was my mentor too. I always looked up to him and as a young player I needed someone to show me the way, and he did. I would not be where I am in my hockey career if it was not for the years I spent under him. He motivated and pushed me to bring out the best I could be. I still follow his words of staying composed in a game and not letting small mistakes get to me.

- Alana Marais, a prolific field player, has played for the u21 KZN team (the state team)

Kieran is the best field hockey coach my daughter has ever worked with.  He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the sport.  He knows how to encourage and teach his students so they feel a sense of accomplishment and pride.

- Tara's daughter, Danielle, plays for the Mountain Lake's middle school team
